Free up iPhone space without losing your audiobooks
Remove an audiobook's download to free space on your iPhone. It stays in iCloud Drive, and one tap brings it back.
Audiobooks are large files, and a full library can fill an iPhone. VerbaViva lets you remove a book's download from the iPhone while the file stays safe in iCloud Drive.
To free the space of one book:
- Open your library in VerbaViva.
- Swipe the book to the left, or long-press it.
- Choose Remove Download.
The file leaves your iPhone but stays in iCloud Drive. To free several books at once, go into edit mode, select the books and choose Remove N Downloads.
A removed book stays in your library, marked with a cloud. Tap it to bring it back, or long-press it and choose Download.
Good to know:
- This works only for books in iCloud Drive, not for books from the Music library.
- It does not work for the book that is playing.
